You would have appeared for a lot of interviews and you would think you were very good and performed well. So what is that you lack in or what is the reason for your unemployment?

If you are a fresher to get a new job, then probably you wont be expected much to express. Companies and organisations certainly know very well that you cannot know much about the subject as you just had a theoretical knowledge in your college days. So they analyse for your basic skills and if you tend to satisfy that, you are eligible to get the job hands down

There are a lot of obstacles that may stop your from getting selected in an interview. These are some of it.

Obstacle No 1  lack of contact information in your resume

This is a very important step which should be keenly noted whenever you develop a resume for yourself. You cannot just  give a resume which doesn't have contact information. Most of the companies never select people as it is and they need sometime to analyse your skills. So they decide to study and look through your profile and they would like to inform about your status and results through e-mail or via a phone call. So, all these need to be given in the resume when you tend to submit it.

Obstacle No. 2 you have been very inconsistent

This is a very major consideration for the companies as they never want people who are inconsistent and don't stick to the company for long. Even though you aren't talented, if you have the right passion and interest to work for a company for a long time, you can have better chances. So this clearly states to companies and organisations  your state of mind and  attitude to work.

Obstacle No 3 you are not well prepared and ready for personal/technical

Professionals and company officials can find out alot from the way you answer things. If you happen to stammer a lot and say don't know for almost all the questions, they may strongly feel that you have not prepared for the interview even a bit. They just want you to at least try some questions and never give up on it.

Obstacle no 4. No references and recommendations included

References and recommendations can be very useful for you to get into any company or organisation. They would really need you to provide it as they prefer hearing about you fro some other person for a genuine content check. If a person in the same company or same field can refer you or recommend your qualities, you can easily get the job if you just have the right attitude.

Obstacle no 5 - The facts about your previous employment

Companies would be eager to know what you did in your precious work or employment. If there is something negative in it, they almost don't want you. Your previous employment plays a very major role in your job being confirmed in your new company. They even tend to cal up and ask about your work there and if you have been doing well there, they just take you as it is with the belief in your work.

Obstacle no 6 : Lot of changes in job in the past - that too not relevant

This is one of the important considerations for companies to have a though of selection with you. They keenly look for a relevant experience first. If you have that, then they tend too see what are all the companies you have worked for. If you have been in companies with different areas and fields for the past 6 or 7 years, they would then strongly feel that you fluctuate a lot and you never stick to a single filed. The experience for the particular field is counted as the experience you had specifically within that field alone.

Obstacle no 7 - no proper answer during the interview

This is very important. People who interview you would be very keen to know the skill you have and the technologies you have been working with. If you do not express your thoughts very well, then it may act as your enemy during the day of your interview.

Obstacle no 8 - you are not flexible

Most of the people go for the nest job considering the benefits they get, compensation they would be offered and also for the location of work. Even if you have the right attitude to work and serve, if you do not possess the flexibility factor, then you would never be selected. This is a very important quality which is really required to ensure a better personality altogether and also to make you ready for any interview..

Obstacle no 9 - Your resume is not very impressive and expressive

This is one of the most common problems that students face whenever they are speaking on front of the person who interviews. If your resume contains a lot of text to read and if you have not put anything precise and simple, then you would not be selected. They read your attitude with this quality and if you are so simple in explaining about you and your qualities,  you would easily get selected..

Obstacle no 10 - you don't have any specific aim or a focussed objective

This is certainly an important part being considered by the interviewer who asks you questions. If you don't have any idea about your ambitions in life, then they will also never have any idea on selecting you for their operations. Your aims and objectives should almost match well with the company's objectives and goals. If you are preparing a resume, it is very much important to make it completely company specific which then makes your special for that respective company and make you easily considered for the job they offer.

So just try to avoid all these important obstacles when ever you appear for an interview.
